WINGWOMAN (WING-PERSON) & SOCIALMEET MERITOCRACY CLUB CONNECTION
The idea for Wingwoman Agency was born at the launch party for our startup, Socialmeet The Best Meritocracy Club in the World, on October 30, 2024. The evening featured an outstanding fashion show with many of the Bay Area’s most talented and beautiful models, including Miss Bharat USA 2024 Shreya Sawant and Mrs. West Coast Universe and Mrs (Bharat) India California 2024 Sumita Wahi, along with other key figures from the local fashion scene, as shown in the event’s photos and videos.
Working side by side with these models, stylists, MUAs, personal shoppers, promoters, MCs, photographers, and videographers gave us deeper insight into the Bay Area fashion world and revealed a new opportunity. Many of these professionals already excel at the social-facilitation skills our future wing-person service will provide, even though they have focused on runway and modeling work until now.
While our fashion market may be smaller than those of Milan, Paris, or New York, Silicon Valley’s startup and creative-business ecosystem is enormous. This means our wing-people have more opportunities to be hired at rates they set by launch event of new startups, established brands, conferences, restaurants, bars, and clubs, rather than working as volunteers fashion shows. By offering their flexible hours as wingperson, these skilled individuals can earn extra income and build valuable networks at conferences, galas, birthdays, weddings, or even on a regular night out, spaces where friendly social assistance makes a difference.
